While your at it Mal, could you send that replacement 810SSS speedo and
lense? You said you would, so either you are a man of your word or you are
not. It is unfortunate that I must discuss this matter publicly, but I had
purchased the item in good faith yet discovered the trip meter would not
reset and a huge crack in the lense. This was not visible in the Ebay photo
nor were any defects mentioned. The packaging was in excellent condition so
let's not use the NZ Post excuse. I've already reminded you twice about this
matter. You can pop it in the same package that you use to send the oil
senders to Rick to save postage and I'll get it off him here in Perth.
Stupidly I gave you positive feedback on Ebay, thinking that a fellow
Ozdatter would stick by their word. I am beginning to regret that. If you
need reminding read the message you sent below, 6 months ago.

I'll have a look to see if I can find anther glass/plastic cover for the
speedo ,,its a 810sss piece and I'm sure the glass cover was too because of
the trip meter reset hole...

I'm blown away the reset dont work,,I would not have done built/played with
it if it was shit..Lets blame the NZ post and I'll ask for some refund for
the post shop, was the box in good shape when you got it?.

That unit came up one day sitting in my garge ,,I thought id see if 810SSS
gauges fit in a 510 housing,,
I painted all the needles to match bolted it all up and never got around to
sorting the rest out, I thoink not long after that I brought the bike shop
and never had time to do much else.

Malcolm
