I'm all for authenticity, but after 30 years its time to buy new seat belts in my opinion. Worn out seat belts could be useless when needed.
Last Xmas I bought 2 pair of retractable front belts to fit to my kids 1600s. I ordered them through my local Repco outlet and they cost me about $40 LESS than a pair of generic (non customised) retractables from Autobarn. (about $150 each pair). Autoliv made them up specially to my specs.
