I had an XD last year (project that never happened) and looked into the 351
conversion. I think you can slip it thru as a user-certified/approved
modification since it's a motor that the car did have in that chassis on
some models. In NSW you should be able to get it thru with a blue slip
inspection to check engine mounts, chassis and engine numbers.

I think you'll be sweet and if you have hassles, move on to the next rego
inspection workshop until you get it approved. :)

Maybe ring around first, but I am 90% sure you'll be sweet.
