Mal,
I agree with you that if it was fine when it was sent and is cracked now,
then a claim should have been put through the post office. What shouldn't
happen is a promise to send another one, which never happens. And when more
questions are raised then to tell him you will send more and more stuff. I
personally would be pretty pissed off, I mean if the dash wasn't cracked
when it left then why are you sending more stuff? and why aren't you just
sorting it out with the post office (no offence but it sounds a bit dodgy
to me). Now if it is a matter of time like you say it is, then that last
email is fairly long and in the time you took to type it, you could have
packaged it up and sent the stuff.
I think things like this will make people sceptical about buying stuff from
you. I am speaking from a thrid person perspective, I do not know any of
the people involved. I buy quite a bit of stuff online (from various
countries). As I recall you own a shop?? well you should know about
customer service and how easy it is to get a bad rep. If I was you I'd just
be finding the time to send the stuff, it will benefit you in the long run.
Just my 2 cents,
Richard

Subjec Re: Upgrade speedometer, odometer
t: to modern KM's with trip meter.
Hey people.
Yes I sold a 510 dash with 810SSS gauges fitted to a guy in ozzzie..
Then a few month later he told me the speedo trip meter didnt work,,,
Worked
fine in the car when I drove the 810SSS home to part it out...
Plus when he got it he said the speedo lens cover was cracked.
(he probley should have put a claim in thru the post office)
I have been posting Datsun/Nissan parts worldwide for many years..With not
very many problems..I can think of 2 items in 6 years.
PLUS
anther guy on the ozdat list was wanting a oil sender for his 510SSS,, well
I told him I would post him a couple for FREE......which I've had a bit of
a
hard time over because of how long hes been waiting for his FREE oil
senders,,Plus I asked what size tee shirt he wears and I'll post him one
with the oil senders..
So you tell me who the bad guy is???
I do have a life and work 7 days a week, I crashed on my MTB about 4 years
ago and got fucked over by the medical system here which put a big hold on
my life......
So if you carnt wait ,,Sod off and I dont give a shit on who wants to buy
anything...
I'd rather scrap metal 10 sets of SU's anyway Than sell them to you just
like I have cut up over 50 510's and dumped them,,,Trying to keep Fuck
witts
out of them...
Malcolm
