Mark If the plastic backs have all the globe holders still intact (they usually get broken by stuff in the boot hitting them on take off, and the plastic tends to go brittle and chalky with heat.), I'd guess $100 a pair would be very reasonable. If you sell them, keep us informed about the market. I think I have a couple of pairs of 67/8 models in my 1600 store.
You dont need to pay that much for some good '72 model lights. Try machine polishing, or checking out the cost of chroming the metal bits and refurbishing the lenses by transparent spray paints. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, July 09, 2004 8:47 PM Subject: 1600 tail-lights '68 value > I really love the 70-72 1600 tail-lights, the inner and esp. outer > chrome really make it for me when viewing the arse-end of any 1600...so > dress my car up by replacing mine with brand newies...US$285+ from an > Oz ebayer pheww! maybe not just yet - but it brings me to my question, > I'd like to fund this by selling some nice cond.
