It souinds like a later model 180BSSS manifols.  This stuff was part of the breather recirculation, introduced to reduce engine emissions.

Subject: Su manifold

H there, untill this week I owned a wierd Su manifold.
At the rear (as you are looking at the engine from the front of the car) it had this huge flat head screw adjuster thing.

What did that do??

Bloke who bought the mani, said the one he had, didn't do any thing he could tell.

Looked to me, some sort of balancing adjuster for the front two, and rear two cylinders.
He was happy, as he wanted the same manifold he had, just not cracked and welded up all dodgy like his was.

Any ideas what this manifold was for??
Wether it was rare or something.

Ect ect.
Thanks
Rick White.
