Ive used a bike computer on my 1600 in the past. Its no big deal 
mounting the pickup, with a number of options. Use a front wheel and 
attach the pickup to the strut. I attached a little magnet to the wheel 
weight. It was easy to arrange the pickup with sufficent clearance to 
the wheel while being a couple of mm from the magnet.
