I took my car into
scrutineering for qld challenge last night. - yeah it passed
:)
anyway I had a full
tank when i left & wanted a full tank ready for saturday morning so i filled
it up again when i got home.
took nearly 9.0 ltrs
to fill it.
from my place to
brisbane is about 60 or 70km return trip (i didnt think to measure it on the
way)
(I live at Cornubia,
in behind the hyperdome)
thats a lotta fuel,
double what my wifes corrolla would use.
so for the QLD
challenge, which is 350k's plus getting there & back i am probably going to
have to fill up twice.
that equates to
about 23 miles per gallon or 12 ltrs per 100 k's.
my vq statesmans
average fuel usage is around 15 ltrs per 100k
does this sound
right for the L16? - as far as i know its a stock L16 with twin
su's.
