I'm on call 24/7 towing. Got woked up at 4am coz some drunk f'wit wrapped his falcon ute around a pole. Took 2 tow trucks to pull it out. I see something new every day, these new falcon utes have an aluminium tailshaft. This one just shattered like glass.   I really should take photos of some of the stuff I see coz people don't believe me. Hyundai excel the other week got t-boned by a falcon at 80km/h and the hyundai simply turned inside-out, it was a cube of torn and twisted metal. I've seen commodores rip in half from side impacts, front on they are very good coz they make them to pass the front-on crash tests. I will never own a commode or a falcon!   Toyotas seem to be the best of the japanese cars in a prang, they crush very nicely and the people seem to always survive, the worst ones only have minor injuries. Even the older toyotas crush up very well.   Nissans / dattos do allright, but the old ones are pretty solid. Old 'skool dattos are like tanks, which is good and bad.   My next project will most likely be a volvo tho, you only get one life!
