Zac,
It will still work as well if the mount bolts are tight.

Subject: Strut brace

Howdy, I got given an aftermarket 1600 strut brace on Friday. Today I
test fit it and found that the inner side of the plate that rests on the

strut tower rubs against the centre of the strut tower and won't sit
flat. Does that make any sense?
Are you supposed to put washers between the strut tower and the brace?
This would fix the problem but I thought it might negate some of the
benefit as the brace wouldn't be sitting flush on the tower.

Thoughts?
