Yes I have but not the latest models, they could only get better one would hope - I get to drive a WRX MY99 Club Spec occasionally, great car and I'd have one any day but I've got enough cars at the moment, the only dodgy part in the My99 is the gearbox, my mate is on his third one & soobie said no more under warranty. He's looked after this one but last time I drove the car the box was noisy again. I agree that they are awesome around corners and especially in the wet, a 1600 is no match for a well setup AWD. May be my perception is bad but in Canberra a lot of nerd types have them and I guess it's a credit to the engineering that they can control the power and keep them all things equal mostly on the island. I was sort of implying that the same drivers would put a XR8 or SS etc over the edge, a modified 1600 is in that category too.
