I hope they also sell replacement T/C rod mounts 'cause they won't stick around long with the rod solidly mounted. I did the Jag mono-ball conversion many years ago and: a) Ripped out T/C mount completely driving to scrutineering on bitumen road - damn those spot welds b) Fully mig welded in standard mounting from donor vehicle (1/2 inch intervals to stop heat flex)- this ripped out again during rally even though it was now fully welded. c) Folded up stronger mounting using thicker steel and plated the sub frame, welded it all in and it twisted/ripped a hole in the sub frame d) Folded up another stronger mount with gusseting and longer plating reinforcement to sub frame, with gusseting to sub frame to stop flex.
Worked a treat, steering feedback on dirt however was downright dangerous. It was amazing the difference it made. On a bitumen racetrack (a nice flat surfaced one) it was a dream - exact and predictable. In the end I threw the lot in the bin and went to Nolathane - just as good and easier on the machinery.
