Thanks for the info Richard and Brad, I'll have a look at the Cibies and Hella's, Brad's got me thinking now, i could make a mould on our cnc mill at work, even engrave a datsun logo and then do a wet lay up with fibreglass, and get some custom pods. Cheers Mark
>>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 07/30/05 1:58 am >>> Mark I would still recommend Cibie Super Oscars. 2 spread beams, and add 2 pencil beams if you can afford 2 more. Check if it is now legal to have more than 6 forward facing headlamps in Vic? On cars with four original forward facing headlights, (1600's and 180B's) we used to have to mount the Cibies in front of the original high beams, to get around a rule that said you could only have 6 forward facing head lanps (and another that said the lights had to be mounted more the 30cm either side of the cars centreline). Use 100w H1 globes with 4mm wiring, driven by quality relays mounted RHS on the rear of the radiator support panel, and switched by the original high beam circuit removed from the RH High beam head light. Lightforce would be my next choice. Slightly cheaper, plastic backs but still good, bigger, rugged lights. Talk to John at Rallyequip, Bayswater Rd Croydon, Vic. he's the guru. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Overend" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2005 4:33 PM Subject: Rally Lights > Hi everyone, > can anyone recommend rally lights for my 180b, i dont know much about these lights.
