There
is a direct relationship between boost pressure and outlet air temp. (P1V1/T1 =
a constant).
On my
sunny van with 7 lbs boost, the air temp would build up (on a long hill) to 70
centigrade. This was measured with a slow acting thermo couple though, so
it may have been higher.
