Malcom.
I am not selling the new parts for the hell of
it.
I am selling them to pay to get both my wagon and
the SSS fixed.
They were hit by the same 4x4 and I have no way of
forsing the owners to pay up.
The last brand new 1800 SSS coupe grille I sold, I
lost nearly $600.00 Australian dollars from the time I bought it, and got it
sent from the US to Perth.
But $450.00 in the hand has been able to get some
other bits and pieces to fix the SSS.
Not that the $450.00 I got (less fees aswell) for
the Grille, came any where near paying for the following bits I have found, but
it was the differnce between me paying rent, eating, and getting the bits for 3
weeks, while I had already bought the other bits, with money I didn't
have.
I have been able to track down
A brand new front apron for the SSS.
A pair of brand new SSS head light surrounds (bit
that finishes of the grille) as when the Grille I am after was bent, they pulled
the headlight surrounds and tore the screw holes bigger.
A very good quality under grille chrome strip, one
that meets up with the eye brow moulds on the guards for the SSS.
A Pair of brand new Eye brow moulds for the
SSS.
I still need.
The grille.
A good quality radiator support
pannel.
A good quality bracket thingie, that bolts to the
bonnet catch part of the radiator support pannel, and down to the front apron,
just behind the bumper in the middle
(don't really know what that bit is called, will
know by the time I have found one)
A brand new water pump with cluch fan assembly, as
the radiator was pushed right over to the rocker cover.
A brand new 3 core radiator, as yes you guessed it,
mine is now stuffed, doesn't leak, but it looks very wrong.
A very good quality 2 piece front bumper (you know
the one that is joined only in the middle, not the one that has the ends added
to the centre)
After all that is found, I add my good passenger
fender, the perfect bonnet, and have the whole front end replaced/fixed and
painted.
I then need to start on the
wagon.
Any how, if you want to help me out list a good
grille on E-Bay or just give me a price including Air mail Postage to Perth, and
I will consider it.
If you see something you want, that I am selling on
E-Bay, bid , if you get out bid at the last moment, you didn't bid high enough
(or didn't want the item enough) :O)
I know what a second hand grille is worth, you know
how hard some of the things I have decided I can do with out is
worth.
Bid till you are happy, you might win :O), and
still be getting a bargain, and if the grille you have is priced right, I may
buy it.
I am not going to loose money on these items, with
out letting the whole world have a chance of owning them, I am sorry, but I need
good items, and I am already making HUGE sacrifises, setting the E-Bay auctions
at such a low price, with no reserve.
Have a great weekend.
Rick White.
No work for 2 weeks,
YES!
