True, L Carb head has 8 holes (W53 - 4 Cyl) while EFI
head has 4 (A87 - 4 cyl). Must be the same design with
the other L heads

No they do not.
L18 e head is normal L series head.
Z18 e and T is a twin point X-Flow head. with 8
spark plugs
