Hi Richard,
The ozdat.com website classified's is a great site, can't
believe I missed it, seems to be the best I've found, had already been keeping
an eye on the Trading Post website, also another good site is www.uniquecarsales.com.au whereas
most of the other sites drive.com.au etc. are pretty much the same as what
is on unique car sales. Have been speaking with a few people for a few weeks now
as was even willing to fly interstate to inspect one that sounds like what I
need and if they are registered in Victoria or New South Wales they are even
tighter on registering than Queensland so I know I wouldn't have a problem
registering it here and being already hooked to the motor industry and transport
contacts is a major help. I'll know when the right one will comes
along, willing to take my time to find that right one :-)

Try this one also.
Type Datsun 1600 into the search box and
Go.
Check each thursday on both sites. You will find one
if your patient.

I'm not sure if I'm emailing the correct address to be
emailed to all Datsun 1600 OZDAT members, but I have only joined as a
member last week, and have just started getting emails forwarded to me
on discussions.
I am trying to track down a Datsun 1600 to buy, so if
anyone has a Datsun 1600 to sell, please email me pictures, year
model and info of what has been done to the vehicle to [EMAIL PROTECTED]. I am in
Brisbane and would preferrably like a Datsun 1600 already registered
with rollcage set up for racing, as I am looking to get into
circuit/sprint racing and do not want to tow the vehicle to the races,
but please send info of any for sale even if they aren't registered or
set up for racing.
My father used to rally a Datsun 1600 when I was a
little girl with the Shoalhaven Kiama Car Club in NSW and
he was in NSW state rallys and my dad and I still love this vehicle, I
have posters all over my work office of them, and after being at Leyburn
Historical Sprints for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I just want
to get out there and have some fun with one, and the vehicle is getter
harder and harder to get of hold of, so I just have to get one soon and
I also want to keep the vehicle for years to come as I would never
be able to sell it.
