I just received this email today from the author of

great Datsun 1600 history in Australia he should add to the web site.
I have asked my Datto guys in Oz several times for stuff on racing
down
their, but get nothing... this is the first I've heard of it. I'll
actually
be in Australia in about a month and can't wait see some of the cars
down
there... and get parts for my 65 Cedric LOL.
Do you have any contact info for any of the people involved are they
still
around? I love getting these stories down, but can only get the ones
easily
that were documented internationally or in the US.

Is there any chance we can organise for Merlin to meet with our
former
Datsun 1600 Rally/Racing "stars" during his impending visit to Oz? Or
at
least send him our Datsun history for the web site.
I would really like Merlin to meet Geoff Portman and Les Collins if
it
is possible, during his visit.
Any ideas on how to make this happen?
