That's interesting. I thought I'd seen something different in the past, but when I went to write that compatibility thing I guess I used whatever was the latest. If you'd like to write a new transcoder, I'd take it. :) BTW, there's a memcached hackathon in Menlo Park tonight in case anyone's in the neighborhood.
