Yo, In a few hours (or sometime tomorrow, at this point), I'm posting the final patch series for 1.2.7-rc for public review. They'll be up for about a day or two before we kick off the -rc.
I've been combing my inbox for days and collecting the little odds and ends I might've missed, along with my old notes (it *has* been a while, holy crap I'm sorry). If there's something on your wish list let me know directly or on the list. The 1.2 series is going into pseudo-maintenance mode. The 1.3 series will get any significant work, and 1.2 will be restricted to bugfixes and usability improvements. Very minor feature enhancements might still be considered, but are better candidates for the development series. This *does* mean we're buckling down for the eventual next stable series (1.4 and beyond), so I strongly encourage folks to go grab the beta and try it out: http://code.google.com/p/memcached/downloads/list have fun, -Dormando
