Hey all,
Just a quick followup to the note Eric Lambert sent out on March 31.
As many of you know, we had a productive hackathon in a BOF session at
the MySQL conference last year. I submitted for, and received approval
to, hold another hackathon this year. The schedule has not been set,
but I'd requested Wednesday, April 22nd (I'd hoped it'd be scheduled
before sending out an announcement) based on when some of the core folks
are available.
So, the question becomes what are the goals? There are some interesting
ideas/patches out there for working with objects based on key prefixes.
There are also some thoughts on getting some benchmarking tools, etc.
Have a look at the ideas posted on the wiki, and look there for any
other details as we get close to the 22nd:
