If you do that, you'll break brian's gearmand memcached queue store functionality! and uh. that FUSE client. In all seriousness we should probably officially mark the thing as deprecated as of 1.4.0 and remove it in the next major release (not after a minor though). Anyone disagree? :) -Dormando
