I tried a test w/ four processes simultaneously issuing memcache gets
as fast as they can.. each took 20-30 sec to do 1000 gets.
No failures. Guarding against whitespace in malformed IDs now.

Is it normal for memcache to fail sometimes? Like 0.1% of the time?
(if it just goes through the misses the cache silently on a read, not
so bad, but if it fails to delete from the cache on a save/delete,
then that is bad)
