I don't know if it's well known, but: https://github.com/ingenthr/memcachetest (let me know if you want a dist tarball, that'd be easier to build) There's also: https://github.com/dustin/mc-hammer Also, I'd guide you to think about what you want the benchmark to model, rather than just look for tools.
