Hi,

I think that memcached source ins't compatible with solaris, because it use
some async operations that it don't support (but I'm not sure).
For solaris you need to download Cool Stack, which have the CSKmemcached.

Here you can get more information about it:
http://sunfreeware.com/coolstack.html

Here you can get source and binaries for both x86 and Sparc (I don't know if
it supports x86-64).
http://ftp.sunfreeware.com/ftp/pub/freeware/CSK/

You could use a memcached only computer, if it is available. You should
verify the best for you.

Unfortunatelly I think it is the best you can get in this mail list, because
they won't talk about non standard version of memcached.

I started a thread to talk about high use of memcached and had a very rude
answer and my mail registered in some spam servers.

Too bad for me (or for postini :D)!

My email is available if you want to share your experiences.

Best regards,

Sergio
