Subject: Re: Question on logging....

Sorry didn't get a chance to respond to you on my blog. The value between set
and 2050 is the key. If you look at your get request its also requesting that
same key.

I don't remember off hand what the first number or last number means. But the
middle number is your key expiration length.

Memcache gurus,

I’m tracking down a bottleneck that may or may not be related to memcache. I
enabled simple logging on a test machine and I’m trying to decipher the output
for these set/get connections. Does anyone know what this means?

<28 get cross-sell-cat-gap-US-EN---new,first_visit,everyone-0

Some of it I get – I see a hit, then a set statement. I see the arrow
characters indicating (I gather) the direction of the content. But what do the
numbers trailing the log mean? What does “first_visit,everyone” mean… that’s
not a part of my key.

I’m a memcache novice so be gentle :)
