Hi Nick, AFAIK the error will be thrown when the pool(SchoonerSockIOPool) is not initialized.
Maybe, you should call the SchoonerSockIOPool#initialize() method before you try to create a MemcachedClient instance. Hope this helps your problem.. Thanks.
