Looks like pecl/memcached is more stable than the other. But pecl/memcache has more downloads on pecl.php.net (1.7M downloads vs 0.6M donwloads), and the connection persistent maybe better than the other. After 2009, both clients have several releases and UDP in pecl/memcache 3.0.x is really attractive. So, is there anyone can provide more information about this?
