What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. /usr/bin/memcached -p 11211 -d -P /var/run/memcached.pid -u nobody
2. ls /var/run/memcached.pid ## error
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
pidfile was not created for Permission denied, pidfile should be written
before setuid
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v1.4.18 on centos 6.4
