You seem to be asking the list about your own requirements. I'm pretty
sure all of the memcached client interfaces will spread your requests
across many servers.
As long as you consider the capabilities of your client interface, how
you configure your client, and limitations of your hosts and networks
you can do whatever you want.
How graceful is the system about making these changes while in
production? If you add servers do you have to stop the clients to
reconfigure to use them, and is there any problem other than less than
optimal caching while some clients run with the old setup?
