As far as I know, the only work that has gone into tagging support so
far is a bunch of people writing to the list saying they want it. Is
anyone actually writing code for the feature? (It's entirely possible
I'm just forgetting it if it was mentioned at some point.)

Tagging would be of great use to me. In the next few months we will
start making big updates to Gigoit.org <http://Gigoit.org> and a
tagging system sounds like
it would help us quite a bit.
