I've this information because I've a class in php to use memcached and that make the conctrol of tags in memcached. When it has a problem I recive notification. When this ocurred my solution is restart all memcached services. I don't know why have this happend but I've a temporal solution for the moment.
Never is full the memory of memcached in any server.
