Hi everybody,In multiple presentations I have seen Brad talk about running multiple instances of memcached on "high-end" boxes. I was wondering what are the benefits of doing so?
We have two boxes with 12G of RAM and 8 processors each that host our memcache cluster running one instance of 64bit memcached. Is this a good idea? should we instead run multiple instances on each? what are the pro/cons?
Thanks, Shayan
