Hmm... I might have to declare this a bug.
I haven't put enough mental effort into the shutdown process since I
pretty much never go through it, but I think the failure here is not
waking the selector up and allowing it to complete its last run
through handleIO before tearing down the selection keys.
Does that make sense? Anything more obvious?
