Last Sunday’s MFA meeting was an opportunity for members to give feedback, suggestions and guidance to the Board. Attendees affirmed MFA’s commitment to offering high-quality educational events including well-known speakers (ex: Barbara Forrest), lively panel discussions (ex: the Abortion panel) and engaging films. Members also expressed interest in exploring appropriate, productive forms of advertising and activism.
The following general topics were suggested for upcoming MFA meetings. Evolution Church and State Issues Logic and Philosophy Tricks and Tactics of ID and Pseudoscience Critical Thinking and the Scientific Method History and Applications of Freethought Parenting and Family Issues The Board will take all of these suggestions to heart and look for opportunities to act on them. In the meantime, we invite you to reply with any ideas you would like to add to these.
