MENDELE Personal Notices and Announcements July 16, 2009
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests: 1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance. 2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments. 3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames. ________________________________________________________________________ Date: Mon, 13 Jul 2009 16:59:34 +0300 From: Nicole Taylor <[email protected]> To Subject: Seeking Yiddish speaker in Tel Aviv Hi, I am looking to meet any native Yiddish speakers in Tel Aviv who would like a conversation partner. I am here for the summer from London learning Hebrew, and I would love to meet any older Tel Avivans who know Yiddish and Hebrew, and who would like to kibitz and drink coffee in the afternoons. I will provide the coffee and cake! Hopeful that I can improve my Yiddish and Hebrew and get to know some older people in the city. I am writing a teleplay for a British audience featuring some older Tel Avivans, and it'd be great to meet some! Many thanks Nicole My email is [email protected] ________________________________________________________ Please do not use the "reply" key when writing to Mendele.
