In conjunction with this event, the Department of Jewish Studies at McGill University is once again organizing an academic conference on Yiddish theatre which will take place on the 16th and 17th of June. We are seeking papers on the following topics: The cross-fertilization between European and Yiddish and Yiddish and American Theatre Women in Yiddish Theatre Yiddish Theatre Music Yiddish Cinema Interested parties should submit a 300 word proposal in English by February 28, 2011 to [email protected] Travel and hotel subsidies are available. Complimentary festival passes and a gala Friday night Shabbat dinner will be included.
