Mendele Personal Notices & Announcements Nov. 30, 2011
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests: 1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance. 2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments;and write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line. 3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames. _______________________________________________________________ Date: November 20, 2011 From: Merle Bachman ([email protected]) Subject: the Yiddish poet Roza Nevadovska Dear Folks: Roza Nevadovska died in 1971. Her posthumous collection, "Lider Mayne," was published by Perets Farlag in 1974. At that time she had four surviving siblings, two sisters and two brothers. If anyone has information on how to find the current heir to Nevadovska's literary estate, I would be very grateful. In addition, I am seeking information on the location of her archive. Many thanks.
