The program will be entirely in Yiddish His eynikl, Naftuli Ejdelman, will talk about Zeyde Mordkhe's dream to start a Yiddish-speaking community on a farm in Roosevelt, NJ. We will also read a chapter of the memoirs of Dr. Schaechter's mother, Lifshe Shekhter-Vidman, listen to a recording of lullabies that he made in the 1950s, and sing several of the songs that he loved to listen and hum along to.
