Submissions, which are due by May 18, 2012, will be judged by Lawrence Rosenwald (Wellesley College), Anita Norich (University of Michigan), and Amanda Miryem-Khaye Seigel (New York Public Library). The prizewinner will be announced in the fall of 2012. Submissions can be made through the center's website: yiddishbookcenter.org/translation-prize. Submission Guidelines: Submissions must include three hard copies of the work, a copy of the Yiddish original or a link to the electronic file of the Yiddish original, and contact information. Submissions must be received by Friday, May 18, 2012, and may be mailed to S. Israel, Yiddish Book Center, 1021 West Street, Amherst, MA 01002.
