You must be a U.S. citizen to complete this work, with demonstrated translation experience. Subject matter may include narcotics, trafficking, credit card and bank fraud, anti-corruption, intellectual property crimes, and general legal information. Qualification for DOJ-CD includes some light paperwork and a background investigation by the Department of Justice, including a financial history check. You must be a U.S. citizen, and have lived in the U.S. for at least three of the past five years. A clearance is not necessary for work on this contract but it can help to facilitate the qualification process. Translation and proofreading rates are paid per source word (USD). Translation files will be sent by email for the time being, so it is important that you have a secure internet connection and do not share the information with anyone.
