From: Dovid Schlitt I am currently at work on a translation project of the writing of Shmuel Niger. I am finishing up a new translation of Yidishe literatur un di lezerin, and I am searching for my next project. My question to the list is, if you could see any of Niger's essays translated into English, which would it be? I have considered translating some of Niger's writing on Asch and/or Perets, but even here winnowing down his massive oeuvre has been a challenge. If folks could recommend specific pieces (whether about individual writers or on more general topics) for inclusion in my project, I would be very grateful. And if there are scholars you'd recommend I reach out to for additional help, I would be grateful for that advice as well.
