Dear colleagues, As you might have heard, our next Middle East Network Operators’ Group and Peering Forum (MENOG 24) will be held in Muscat, Oman, from 1 to 5 December. Ahead of this important gathering, we aim to collect data and insights about the state of the Internet in the region. This is only possible with your support and active participation.
We are eager to improve the coverage of Internet measurement data in the Middle East. Our active measurements platform, RIPE Atlas, is a valuable tool used by thousands of network operators and researchers worldwide to troubleshoot networks, gain insights and improve operations. This data is collected by deploying RIPE Atlas probes in different networks. You can read more about RIPE Atlas on our website: https://www.ripe.net/analyse/internet-measurements/ripe-atlas/ By hosting a probe, you also get benefits: - Gain insights: Access detailed measurements about your network's connectivity. - Measure and improve network performance: View your network from the outside to improve performance. - Put the Middle East on the map: Compared to Europe, visibility into networks in the Middle East is relatively low. By hosting a probe, you help drive visibility into the state of the Internet in the region and benefit the entire MENOG community and the global Internet community. If you want to take part in MENOG 24, you can find the details and registration information at: https://www.menog.org/meetings/menog-24/ Thank you for your support and contributions to enhancing our Internet infrastructure. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about hosting a probe. Best Regards, MENOG Team
