Dear all,

Two types of IPv6 CPEs are available, adapters and replacements. Adapters
allow you to use the consumers existing IPv4 CPEs (say ADSL or Wimax modems
already on site) compared to replacement or new units. There are also
software-only versions of the adapters to save on cost.

Either way the service provider will be able to connect the subscriber with
IPv6 using their own reserved prefix and own IPv6 core.

More on this at the ARIN IPv6 wiki at
http://vermin.arin.net/index.php/Broadband_CPE

Regards,
-Ahmed

Hi Rechard

We are using IPv6 only for our IPv6 lab and we are working on providing it
to the core and access networks. The only challenge we have is the
availability of the CPE.
