Hi all,

We'll be holding a brainstorm meeting to generate some tasks towards
making a Mer Platform SDK at Friday 18:00 UTC, 13/1/2012 in
#mer-meeting on irc.freenode.net

The definition of a platform SDK is that which can build standard
software packages for Mer without the need for an OBS (like, the ones
including ./configure, that runs ARM binaries during build, etc).

Application SDK would in this case be defined as what is used to build
Qt applications, such as Qt Creator + MADDE.

The general idea is to utilize SB2 (Scratchbox2) as Platform SDK
backend, as we are likely switching to this for cross-compilation
method in Mer.

Inspiration and background can be read at:

Maemo SDK+, based on SB2, http://maemo-sdk.garage.maemo.org/user-guide.html

Tizen's platform SDK, also based on SB2:
