That is a great news! > The packages aren't in repository yet. And 'yet' means, that they will be someday ;) But seriously, I did exchange the /usr/bin/mcompositor in /usr/share/xsessions/X-MEEGO-HS.desktop but after my custom UX starts, I see it for a quarter of a sec, than black screen appears with the message bubble "..battery not charging...", and after a sec /usr/bin/mcompositor starts. I guess I am missing something from the sequence of systemd. Is there another place where mcompositor is started? maybe in uxlaunch directly(hope not)? * * *ps -A | grep <myux>* tells me that myux is running, when I *killall myux* than mcompositor is killed as well, strange, as if my app controlled the id of the mcompositor. As far as the black screen is concerned, I did try my UX before as an app in full screen and it is working fine. cheers simon:) On Tue, Feb 14, 2012 at 9:31 AM, Carsten Munk <[email protected]>wrote: > 14. feb. 2012 08.59 skrev Simon Bolek <[email protected]>: > > thank you all for help, > > > > Indeed Carstens image work all-right, see attachment. > > So what are the main differences in packages in this image, can anyone > > provide .KS file? > > Or are they packages patched by Carsten himselft, not available in > > repository? > > > > I am still onto replacing /usr/bin/mcompositor in .desktop in the > original > > image, as soon as this works I'll post some screenshots. > It's on my list to switch Mer to using LLVMpipe by default tomorrow, > will be in the release after 20120109.1 > > The packages aren't in repository yet. > > > BR > Carsten Munk > > > > > cheers > > simon:) > > > > > > > > > > 2012/1/30 Cristian Măgherușan-Stanciu <[email protected]> > >> > >> Hi, > >> > >> Carsten's image should basically work, including the GUI, but as he > >> said there are a few glitches caused by some features missing from the > >> current llvmpipe implementation of GLES.
