The problem is that mkinitrd doesn't work properly in the x86 generic
adaptation - ie, the problem isn't in Mer itself.

The aim is to replace mkinitrd with dracut and I've been working on
that. Will probably finalize on Monday. mkinitrd is obsolete and
doesn't work with newer udev.

A temporary workaround is instead to use raw images - add a ext2 /boot
partition in the start of the .ks and perhaps change --ondisk sda to
sdb if it's for a USB key target.
