Hello everyone, I am a user of an Archos G9 tablet. Basyskom produces weekly images of Plasma Active based on Mer for that tablet<http://share.basyskom.com/plasma-active/deployment/archos-gen9/tablet/mer/devel/>. On the devel images (there is no stable images and the testing images are note maintained) is there a few bugs in bugs.kde.org sinds a few months that could be related to the drivers adaptations for Archos G9 on Mer and not to Plasma Active itself. It seems (to my point of view but I am not informatican) to be a problem of interaction between QML and the touch driver.
Indeed: all bugs are related to specific Plasma Active functions, probably coded in QML, not to "classical" KDE programs. I am sending you that mail want this is maybe bugs to be resolved in the Mer project and not in Plasma Active. This is maybe the reason why nothing moves on that side. Could the Mer project see if it is in their scope and if something could be done to make Mer and PA usable on that tablet. Thank you in advance and regards, Jean CAYRON
