I'm writing here to begin the thread about gcc 4.7 and eglibc 2.17.1
migration.
* gcc 4.7 is marked as "Current Stable Release" on gcc-linaro webpage
on launchpad.
It is currently maintained by linaro and it has official support for
C++11.
* eglibc 2.17 has been out for some time and I think that we might
update it.

So now the point is: what's the procedure to upgrade both components?
What should we do? Any cons?
