No and there probably won't be until someone relies on 1.9 in
production enough to take on it.
1.9 multibyte encoding changes would require changes to Rack
specification Merb depends on, so keep this in mind.

I still do not believe 1.9.1 will be useable for production in
December: so far even 187 is not issues free and people stuck to
186p111 with extra security patches as last release
that has no syntax error in stdlib, segfaults here and there or other
serious bugs.

So this "lets all work on 1.9.1 compatibility NOW!" buzz is irrelevant
*at the moment* *to me*.
